Sparklers!
We suggest that as far as fireworks are concerned you visit the local show on Midsummer Common on 1 November. It’s a feast for the eyes and a vibrant community event.
However, for some quieter fun at home, we have hand-held sparklers to use in your garden or balcony.
We have a variety of colours and lengths – come and pick your favourites!
Outdoor colour
We had a bee visit our flowers recently (and had a camera handy – see our picture on the right!). No doubt it’s one of the last before they hibernate for the Winter.
With a bit of planning, however, you can enjoy colour over the winter with pots or other containers of violas, winter pansies and cyclamen.
Maybe you can sneak a few bulbs underneath them to give yourself a colourful surprise in the Spring…

Our most recent brochure includes all you need to stay warm and toasty – at excellent prices and with local delivery for larger items.
We stock (or can order in on request) standalone radiators of various sizes, hot water bottles and heated throws.
We have literally ALL you need for your log burner (from kindling and logs through to fireguards, from coal buckets through to axes and logs… and more).

Come to our friendly shop, ask our helpful staff for tips and find out about our stock. And we’ll dispense our famous Dad jokes for free!
