What do you need to make homemade wine?
The main ingredients you require are your own fruit, the right yeast, supplementary sugar and a combination of yeast nutrient, Pectolase and Campden tablets depending on your brew. With these simple elements you can turn foraged fruits into a delicious beverage.
You can get all these ingredients from our shop in Cambridge. We’re happy to give you ideas for what you can do with your fruit and how to turn into a tasty drink. Come and have a chat with us.
Cider and wine kits
We stock the wonderful range of Wobbly Gob cider kits. We also have both 6 and 30 bottle wine kits including Magnum, Solomon Grundy and Cellar 7. These all-concentrate kits include all the ingredients and yeast you need to get going.
You can make your own Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Grigio, or Chardonnay.
Fruit press for hire
Our extensive range of equipment includes an apple/ fruit press you can hire. We also have a good stock of glass demi-johns which are essential for wine and cider making. We are a stockist for Vigo presses and scratters, to crush your fruit.
We have a range of glass and plastic bottles suitable for all your creations.
