Welcome to the first Cam Home and Garden newsletter – we are looking forward to updating you with gardening and home tips, information about our stock and special offers.
This is the perfect time to get into the garden and we have the perfect range of tools, seeds and plants to help inspire you…
Extensive range of potting compost from peat free specialist ‘Field Compost’
We believe this soil-based potting compost (manufactured in nearby Suffolk) is the best “peat free” on the market and we have used it for a variety of tasks and plants.
Current stock includes:
- potting compost
- soil improver
- manure
- topsoil
- ericaceous soil
- lawn dressing and sand
- large bags of bark chip/mulch.
Grow bags will be arriving soon!
Too much to carry?
Don’t forget that you can come by bike or on foot to choose your compost and we will deliver the heavy bags direct to your home. Free delivery if you spend £25 or more!
Garden Plants
We now have lots of spring perennials, soft fruit, herb and vegetable plants in stock with new additions every 2 weeks. We will have tomato, cucumber, chilli and other cold sensitive bedding plants later in April.

Seeds
We have a range of vegetable, herb and flower seeds, wildflower mixes, onion sets and seed garlic available.
House plants
Our selection of houseplants and indoor pots changes weekly. We have lots of different plants that are comfortable down to lower temperatures of 10/12 degree and as the weather improves we start to stock more of the more tropical, leafy plants.
Gardening products
Our gardening section at the back of the shop has all the plant food, tools, canes, hosepipes, pots and weed/pest killer you could want including organic gardening options.

Garden planters and furniture
Our range of Charles Taylor (UK made) trough planters, herb racks, raised planters and window boxes can all be browsed on our forecourt and gardening department. For benches, chairs and table and chair sets, check out our Outdoor Living range (this link takes you to the national website of Home Hardware, of which we’re a member – phone our shop and order direct through us we can get your items to you faster). If we don’t have stock in the shop we can usually get the product within 2 days for you to look at.
